Chalet ’t Kla-viertje. This is a bed and breakfast which was founded by us as a family in February 2020. The name Chalet ’t Kla-viertje stands for ‘Kla’ of Klarenbeek where we live and ‘viertje’ of the four of us as a family. With my two brothers and mother. The chalet was built in 2015 and we had exchange students from Canada, Switzerland and Germany from 2015 to 2018. After 2018, we stopped doing that as we got older and were no longer in high school. In 2019, (Jikke) went on an internship in Italy at a campsite as a receptionist for 4 months. As she returned, we came up with the idea of hosting guests ourselves by using our own chalet. The idea was born in November 2019 and we were able to welcome our first guests in February 2020. At the moment, mainly only (Jikke, see photo) will be hosting you.
